AI Overview

AIThe room is older, but many players still find it fun and original enough to play. There are lots of puzzles, sometimes tough, and the gamemaster’s hints are friendly and tailored. A recurring note is that a few puzzles don’t always feel fully logical within the firefighting theme. Recommended if you’re in or around Leiden, but not a travel-just-for-this room.
WeaknessesYou can feel its age, and not all puzzles fit the theme tightly. For some, the wow moment is missing and it feels more like a good, but not exceptional, experience.
StrengthsStrong firefighting vibe with clear passion in the design and a set that’s above average. High puzzle density and plenty to do for the whole team, with a clear story that wraps up neatly.
SecurityPlayers mention a standard briefing and pleasant guidance. No signs of physical risks or jump scares.
Level of fearNot scary and no horror antics; perfectly fine for families and sensitive players. The tension comes mainly from time pressure and thematic effects.
Actors' gameNo live acting mentioned; the host/gamemaster is often praised as friendly and helpful. Hints arrive at the right moment without taking over the game.
Quality of riddlesMany and varied, with a few solid brainteasers among them. Generally fair, though some find a few tasks a bit arbitrary or loosely tied to the theme. Duos may have to work hard here; teams can easily split the workload.
PlotYou respond to a fire call, enter an old café, and work toward extinguishing the blaze. The story is simple but clear and ends on a satisfying note.
Difficulty levelMedium-to-tough, especially due to the number of puzzles. Beginners will manage with hints; experienced teams stay busy without dead spots.
