About the escape room

The Aalsmeer Water Tower was built between 1926 and 1928, designed by architect Hendrik Sangster. Even during construction there were stories in Aalsmeer about Sangster and his team of builders, who the townspeople considered odd. And what were they whispering about in the pub after work…? From that grew the rumor that the builders hid strange things in the tower. Over the years the tower keepers embraced that rumor, because unexplainable things were indeed found in the tower. The last tower keeper has invited you to help him with his search, since he is now too old to climb the tower himself. He believed he was very close to finally solving the mystery. Everything he found he left for you in a suitcase. Can you solve the mystery once and for all? Try to reach the top of the tower in 1 or 2 teams of 1 to 6 players per team by solving all the puzzles spread throughout the tower. With 2 teams it becomes a real battle escape room! If your team manages to reach the top at 50 meters high, you can enjoy the view over the lake and Aalsmeer.

Boekingen zijn aanvragen totdat de stichting die de toren beheert jullie aangevraagde tijd en dag heeft bevestigd. Op dat moment bevestigen wij jullie boeking. Dit kan momenteel even duren, vaak tot 1 of 2 weken van tevoren. Onze excuses voor dit ongemak.

Deze beleving is alleen te spelen buiten het broedseizoen van de slechtvalk die in de toren een nest heeft. Dat betekent dat het spel tussen januari en juni normaal gesproken niet te spelen is. Je kunt de actuele beschikbaarheid inzien op onze ‘boeken‘ pagina!

De Watertoren van Aalsmeer is een monument dat wordt beheerd door een stichting. Ons spel is gebaseerd op historische gegevens over de toren en per groep betalen wij € 30,- aan de stichting om de toren voor toekomstige generaties te behouden.
